Kittywood is a project of Yuka Hayashi and Rob Oudendijk

It started a long time ago with the understanding we as a human society need to build houses that last a long time and protect us for forces in nature that can harm us. Like flooding, earthquakes, etc. It is a work in progress.

The idea is to build a dwelling that last a very long time and does not rot. I should be able to float in case of flooding and in case of an earthquake it should just slide. The setup should be in independent off power, …
